All children learn and grow at their own rate. Sometimes children do not reach developmental milestones in  a timely manner and benefit from additional support. The early childhood special education team works with families to conduct assessments and provide services to children who meet eligibility criteria.

Special Education Screenings

The Early Education staff hold special education screenings multiple times throughout the school year. These screenings are for children ages 3 to 5 who have someone concerned about their development. Parent observation and input are an important component to the screening process. Appointments can be scheduled by calling Nancy Smith at 802.264.5894.
