GENERAL INFORMATION RE: SCHOOL CLOSINGS
For emergency closings, if possible, please do not call the school directly.
Our school families will be notified of school closings, delayed openings, and
early dismissals (due to weather or other emergency conditions) as quickly as
possible. The district will contact families through the ALERTNOW Notification
System. An announcement will be made on local radio and TV stations in
Chittenden County. A notice will be posted on the Internet
http://www.sover.net/schoolclosings. Normally, days missed for these reasons
are made up at the end of the school year.
Lunch Menus Available
The lunch menus are available from the Food Services tab at the top

into the school, please call Mrs. Troia at 802.264.5920 and she will be happy to
check for a missing item for you.
Parking Safety
Please do not park in front of the school. Please park in the parking lot loop.
This area must remain available to busses at all times.
Name Badges for All Visitors
School safety is very important in today's world. Taking the safety of all our
children very seriously, we require adults to stop into the office to sign in
and put on a visitor sticker anytime when entering the building. While wearing a
visitor sticker, staff members will know that you belong in the building. When
leaving the building, please sign out.
Show Your Child School is Important to Your Family
(Sources: Edward Joyner, Ebony/National PTA Guide to student
excellence.)
Showing your child you support education is one of the best ways to inspire
her to do her best. When she knows school is important to you, it becomes
important to her, also. Your child will know school is a top priority the
more you do these things:
