Entrance Age: Children must be five (5)
years of age before September 1st in order to be eligible to attend public
kindergarten in Colchester.
At the time of your child’s appointment, you will need your
child’s:
Parents do not accompany
their child during their appointment. Children will join other incoming
kindergarten students in a kindergarten classroom for Morning Meeting, and
then they’ll visit various “stations” within the classroom where they will
participate in individual assessments.
All above listed required documents are due in the office by the
completion of your child’s appointment with us. Please note: Your
child will not be placed in a kindergarten classroom until we have all
required documents.
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) will be notified of their child's placement
by mail.
