Your child will participate in a 45 minute visual art class twice a week for 2 quarters each year. The other 2 quarters he/she will participate in music, providing every student with 90 minutes of arts per week in either music or visual arts. Visual art provides a unique experience that allows a child to express what words alone cannot. Art skills and concepts are introduced, developed and extended in order that your child learns the tools, vocabulary and methods necessary for imaginative self-expression.
