This clinic is for Colchester children who are younger than age 10 and in grades K-5. Recently the school district sent home an important notice to parents regarding this clinic. This information will help parents to determine if their child is eligible for the second vaccine. Deborah Deschamps, our District Nursing Supervisor, reports that we have begun to see influenza like illness in our school community. Fortunately, there are no lab confirmed cases of H1N1 (a.k.a. Swine Flu). As a precaution, we have increased the number of hand sanitizers, stocked up on tissues, and have cleaning products available in our classrooms.
