Serving Nutritious School Meals Every Day!

Studies have shown that children who regularly eat good, nutritious meals will do better in school. That's why we make sure our students are served a nutritious breakfast and lunch every day. We make every effort to serve whole wheat breads, fresh fruits, and vegetables. We use low-fat and fat-free dairy products, healthy food preparation methods, and health-enhancing nutrition practices.

A lot of our food is purchased locally, but we also receive some food from out of state through the U.S. Department of Agriculture. Wherever the food comes from, Colchester parents can rest assured that our primary commitment is always to the health and well-being of our students. We follow the strictest food safety standards and we work hard to provide a clean and safe eating environment for your children.

Free & Reduced-Price School Meals for Eligible Students:

Did you know that our school district participates in the National School Lunch Program? Students who are eligible for this program can receive school meals at no cost or at a reduced price. We encourage all families to complete an application for this program. This allows us to provide meal benefits to as many families as possible.
