The Colchester School District provides public education to approximately 2,300 children residing in the town of Colchester, Vermont (USA).  Tuition students are accepted from the Islands (Grand Isle, North Hero, and South Hero) and/or other districts. We currently operate five separate school buildings and an administrative office building.  Schools include: Colchester High School, Colchester Middle School, Malletts Bay School, Porters Point School, and Union Memorial School.

The Town of Colchester is located approximately three miles north of Burlington, the largest city in Vermont.  Miles of Lake Champlain frontage exist on the town's western boundary.  Colchester's location, public beach, numerous marinas, and playgrounds, complemented by varied year round activities offered by the town's Recreation Department, make Colchester a highly desirable place to live, work, and play.  In terms of educational advantages, Colchester is home to St. Michael's College and borders several other institutions of higher learning located in Burlington area including the University of Vermont, Burlington College, Champlain College, Community College of Vermont, and Vermont Technical College.

For more information on Vermont's education system, please visit the Vermont Department of Education's web site.
