                    Nurse

Welcome to the Nurse's Office!

I'm Kathleen Kelly RN .  Please call me for any health concerns or if your child has been home with a  contagious illness. My phone number is 264-5948. If no answer, you may leave a confidential voice mail.

Sometimes parents are unsure whether to keep their child home, or send them to school. Please keep your child home if they have any of the following symptoms or conditions:

  • Fever

  •  Nausea, diarrhea or vomiting within the past 24 hours

  •  Sore throat, earache or headache

  •  Serious cough or cold

  •  Undetermined skin rash

  •  Other contagious or communicable diseases/illnesses such as strep throat or fifth disease

Children sent to school with these or similar conditions may be dismissed from school.

MRSA= methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus.

MRSA is a kind of Staphylococcus aureus (staph) bacteria that is resistant to some  antibiotics. This bacteria has received a lot of recent news coverage, though it has been around for many years. To learn more, click here.
