Leah Mermelstein a national literacy consultant who specializes in primary reading and writing made a visit to both Porters Point School and Union Memorial School on Wednesday January 10th. This professional development activity for teachers, focused on writing instruction for young students. Leah modeled lessons in classrooms during Writers Workshop time.
