Morning Meeting Letter |
When we arrive in the morning, we are greeted by a letter from our teacher. We need to read the letter, sign in, and settle in with our writing notebook. Then we are off to a busy day.
We start our classroom day with Morning Meeting. This is one of the best parts of the day. We start with a greeting and then 4-5 students share and take comments and questions. After sharing, our morning meeting leader reads the classroom letter aloud, points to the weekly poem as we read aloud together and then points to 5 word wall words that we practice together. Some of our favorite ways to practice are "Dribble, Dribble, Shoot", "Snap and Clap", or "Cheering" the words.
