All About Me

Hello! My name is Susan Morin and I have been teaching at Malletts Bay School for over 30 years. I started my career in New York State and have been in Colchester since 1975. Currently I am part of the Lighthouse.

I grew up in New York City, and first came to Vermont to attend the University of Vermont. I then attended the State University of New York at Cortland where I received my Masters Degree in Reading.,

I live in Colchester and have two grown children. My son Eric lives in Maine and my daughter Jessica lives in Boston.

	My Philosophy of Education
The Lighthouse is a community in which students, families, and educators can feel safe, take risks, feel wanted, feel connected, feel respected, and enjoy learning. We believe in a balanced learning environment in which we strive to work together.
