Tazor was certified in June to work the road with me. He has the same certifications as Kilo: Drugs and Patrol. He loves to work. The unfortunate part is that he spends a lot of time in the cruiser. When I am stuck with paperwork (which is far more than one would expect) he is stuck in the car. Why? I can't accomplish anything with him inside. He doesn't sleep or relax in the office. If its not a toy he's chewing on, he will find something to make into a toy.

Last week he ate someone's registration form. While I was investigating a car crash, he snuck into the front, grabbed the paperwork, and shredded it. Luckily the operator could see the humor in the "dog ate your registration form" explanation.

At our annual Iron Dog competition Tazor tied for first place in the 100 yard dash at 7.97 seconds. Needless to say, this was a run without me, just the dog. Fast little guy. In the rematch he did place second, but it was a good run regardless.

Thanks,
