My
art teaching philosophy is that every student can benefit from a
basic understanding of the place of art and aesthetics in our
everyday lives. Employers in the 21st century are looking for
people who can "think outside the box" and apply creative solutions
to problems. Students who have been exposed to the arts have
been shown to have improved critical thinking skills, higher reading
test scores, and increased patience and perseverance. The arts
really matter! |
